Kamloops Market Update

As we moved into the ninth month of 2018, real estate sales in Kamloops in August were lower in 2018 than at this time last year, with 2,178 residential properties sold to date vs. 2,331 in 2017. The number of new residential listings is the fewer than last year with 3,382 homes on the market vs.3,451 last year at this time. Of 326 units sold last month, 244 were sold in Kamloops. There were 1,187 active listings as of 8/31/18 vs. 1,278 on 8/31/17.

The median price for homes sold in Kamloops in continuing was $467,500 while the median for Kamloops and District was $435,000. These figures compare to $472,000 in July in the city vs. $430,679 in the District.
