Kamloops Market Update

As we move into the second month of 2018, real estate sales in Kamloops in January were higher in 2018 than at this time last year, with 159 residential properties sold to date vs. 132 in 2017. The number of new residential listings is higher than at the same as last year with 296 homes on the market vs. 4278 at this time. Of 159 units sold last month, 130 were sold in Kamloops. There were 858 active listings as of 1/31/18 vs. 1,078 on 1/31/17.

The median price for homes sold in Kamloops in continuing was $427,000 while the median for Kamloops and District was $409,250. These figures compare to $435,000 in December in the city vs. $422,000, while the rest were higher.
