Kamloops Market Update
As we moved into the 2nt month of 2019, real estate sales in Kamloops in January were slightly lower in 2018 than at this time last year, with 157 residential properties sold to date vs. 158 in 2018. The number of new residential listings is slightly lower than last year with 347 homes on the market vs. 296 last year at this time. Of 157 units sold last month, 128 were sold in Kamloops. There were 937 active listings as of 1/31/19 vs. 858 on 12/31/18.
The median price for homes sold in Kamloops in January was $455,000 while the median for Kamloops and District was $429,500. These figures compare to $461,000 in December in the city vs. $425,000 in the District.
