Kamloops Market Update

As we moved into the sixth month of 2018, real estate sales in Kamloops in May were lower in 2018 than at this time last year, with 1.221 residential properties sold to date vs. 2,078 in 2017. The number of new residential listings is the fewer than last year with 2,053 homes on the market vs. 2,078 last year at this time. Of 348 units sold last month, 271 were sold in Kamloops. There were 1,220 active listings as of 4/30/18 vs. 1,306 on 5/31/17.

The median price for homes sold in Kamloops in continuing was $473,000 while the median for Kamloops and District was $429,900. These figures compare to $454,900 in April in the city vs. $401,900 in the District.
