Kamloops Market Update

As we move into the third month of 2017, real estate sales in Kamloops in February were higher in 2017 than at this time last year, with 325 residential properties sold to date vs. 309 in 2016. The number of new residential listings is lower than at the same as last year with 737 homes on the market vs. 610 last year at this time. There were 1,130 listings active, in comparison to 1,560 last year at this time. Of the 193 units sold last month,167 were sold in Kamloops.

The median price for homes sold in Kamloops in continuing was $379,500 while the median for Kamloops and District was $380,000. These figures compare to $379,500 in December in the city vs. $358,000, while the rest were higher.
