Kamloops Market Update

As we moved into the 3rd month of 2019, real estate sales in Kamloops in February were slightly lower in 2018 than at this time last year, with 337 residential properties sold to date vs. 354 in 2018. The number of new residential listings is slightly lower than last year with 593 homes on the market vs. 610 last year at this time. Of 180 units sold last month, 145 were sold in Kamloops. There were 918 active listings as of 2/28/19 vs. 895 on 2/28/18.

The median price for homes sold in Kamloops in February was $455,000 while the median for Kamloops and District was $430,000. These figures compare to $455,000 in January in the city vs. $429,500 in the District.
