Kamloops Market Update

As we moved into the fifth month of 2018, real estate sales in Kamloops in April were higher in 2018 than at this time last year, with 873 residential properties sold to date vs. 925 in 2017. The number of new residential listings is the fewer than last year with 1,470 homes on the market vs.1,504 last year at this time. Of 311 units sold last month, 236 were sold in Kamloops. There were 1,044 active listings as of 4/30/18 vs. 1,198 on 4/30/17.

The median price for homes sold in Kamloops in continuing was $454,900 while the median for Kamloops and District was $401,900. These figures compare to $462,500 in March in the city vs. $415,000 in the District.
