Kamloops Market Update

As we moved into the 5th month of 2019, real estate sales in Kamloops in April were slightly lower in 2018 than at this time last year, with 836 residential properties sold to date vs. 873 in 2018. The number of new residential listings is higher than last year with 1489 homes on the market vs. 1470 last year at this time. Of 272 units sold last month, 216 were sold in Kamloops. There were 1116 active listings as of 3/31/19 vs. 1470 on 3/31/18.

The median price for homes sold in Kamloops in April was $475,000 while the median for Kamloops and District was $455,000. These figures compare to $502,500 in March in the city vs. $454,000 in the District.
