Kamloops Market Update

As we moved into the tenth month of 2018, real estate sales in Kamloops in September were lower in 2018 than at this time last year, with 2,411 residential properties sold to date vs. 2,632 in 2017. The number of new residential listings is slightly lower than last year with 3,760 homes on the market vs.3,793 last year at this time. Of 326 units sold last month, 244 were sold in Kamloops. There were 1,187 active listings as of 8/31/18 vs. 1,278 on 9/30//17.

The median price for homes sold in Kamloops was $484,900 while the median for Kamloops and District was $444,000. These figures compare to $472,000 in August in the city vs. $435,000 in the District.
